The days of 48 hour vapour shipper charging are over!
Earlier this year Chart MVE announced that all of their Cryoshippers and Doble Series cryogenic dewars will be equipped with Advanced QWick Charge Technology. These new shippers are able to cryogenically charge using liquid nitrogen in just 2 hours. This quick charge has been made possible by replacing the cab-o-sil, that was traditionally installed to absorb liquid nitrogen with a new aerogel absorbent. The new shippers can be clearly identified by their “Advanced QWick Charge Technology” label. Core has already introduced over a dozen of these shippers into our own shipping fleet and they work beautifully.
